Wilmington, DE: Delaware Press Association presents “The Power of Story” symposium, featuring keynote speaker, Chuck Lewis, addressing “The Transcendent Power of Story Across the Media” on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., at Widener University Delaware Law School, 4601 Concord Pike, Wilmington, Delaware.

Named “one of the most notable investigative reporters in the U.S. since World War I” by the Encyclopedia of Journalism (2009), Lewis is a best-selling author, a former ABC news reporter and CBS News 60 Minutes producer, and a MacArthur fellow. He is also the founder of two Pulitzer Prize-winning nonprofit news organizations: The Center for Public Integrity and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, and professor and founding executive editor of The Investigative Reporting Workshop at The American University School of Communication.

Lewis will be joined by a distinguished panel of communications experts discussing topics such as “Storytelling Skills: Harnessing the Narrative,” and “Where’s the Line?: Story vs. Spin.”
